Day 2: Sunshine and Slalom Drills

By June 26, 2016 Uncategorized

Today was one for the books! The snow pack was hard, the conditions held, the girls were motivated, and it was sunny and beautiful both on and off the glacier. We started the day off with drills that encouraged feeling and control on the skis. The girls progressed each drill until they were crushing them in the course! It was awesome to see everyone get comfortable on their skis again and start to push themselves.

After skiing down from the glacier, Leslie had a sweet lunch spread ready for us and it was Farmers Market day in the village! We checked it all out and then headed to dryland. Today, dryland included jogging to Lost Lake and doing drills in the park – it was HOT. So we all jumped in the lake to cool of afterwards and then headed home for (yet another) of Leslie’s great meals. We feasted and planned for another amazing day on the hill – the plan for tomorrow is to progress into FULL GATES! yes! slalom rules 🙂

Here are some pics from today!
