Day three was another bangar of a day. Brilliant blue skies lit up the surrounding snow capped peaks. lift lines were lighter and the girls crushed a ton of laps. We progressed into full gates and the snow held up well.
After our on snow session we swtched gears and headed across the peak to peak gondola to Whistler mountain. upon arrival we found olympic gold medaLlist in ski cross, Marielle Thompson, taking fan photos with the Olympic rings! A beautiful chair ride took us to the tip top of the peak. the views were stunning and the crowds were large. As a group we walked back down towards the peak to peak through massive snow banks. A small glimpse into the impressive snow pack that Whistler receives each year.
With only two days left in the camp we are looking forward to progressing into longer slalom courses with fun combinations. lets hope the weather holds!
